Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description Position Summary Supports the Finance Manager of Viticulture & Winemaking in partnering with the Internal Vineyard & Grower Relations teams to drive accountability around our California vineyard portfolio. The position is a key member of the Supply Strategy & Finance teams, providing highly visible business analysis and insights in support of Constellation's Operations strategy. Will be the go-to person in support of the Capital and Farming cycles, including budgeting, reporting, and post project analysis. Will support short term execution and long-term strategy around capital equipment, vineyard development, and farming. Will lead initiatives that improve how the department delivers results. Primary Responsibilities Works under guidance of the Finance Manager of Viticulture & Winemaking to be the go-to support for our Internal Vineyard and Grower Relations teams. Key financial support/owner of the full cycle of our Capital Equipment, Vineyard Development, and Farming operations - from budgeting, to execution (tracking and reporting), to post project analysis. Partners with Operations and Finance stakeholders to deliver value added review, analyses, and model returns of various investments. Uses knowledge of costing and production methods in all analyses, especially ad/hoc, to provide accurate guidance to decision makers. Synthesizes disparate data sources to provide insight on competitive trends in grape sourcing and farming. Core Competencies to be Successful Analytic and problem-solving skills. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor Degree in finance or accounting preferred, or BS degree with 5+ years relevant work experience. MBA a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a relevant positions. Equivalent combination of education & experience is acceptable. Excellent demonstrated computer skills. MS Office (including expert Excel and PowerPoint. Database skills a plus),  Planning and Reporting systems: JDE, Hyperion (Smartview), SharePoint Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.  Ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.   Highly motivated, results oriented individual who excels in a dynamic environment.  Ability to gain commitment and initiate action.   Individual who is self-directed, can manage multiple tasks and who can take a project from inception to completion without extensive supervision is ideally suited to this position. Wine industry experience preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
